Behavioral Logistics™

Low turnover is our edge. Retention is how we earn it.

The hours around the job Retention is decided here, and this is a major focus.

People rarely quit the job. They quit the hours around it. On most jobs, keeping travelers comes down to the basics done well and a leader who answers the phone. On large projects, when hundreds of travelers land in one community, it takes assimilation: a place in the community.

The method has held up for decades, on projects that ran for months and years. During Covid, when shortages of essential personnel were acute, much like today's shortage of skilled trades, we kept more than 600 traveling workers on the job year-round across 20 locations. The key then and now is keeping the people you have.

That's the common sense science of behavioral logistics, a discipline that has amity and revenue at its core.
